Va ser molt curiós perquè va portar “les entranyes” del llibre, tots els papers esborranys escrits a llapis i colorins de com creava els personatges, la seva vida, la relació amb els altres personatges, els capítols.....i això va agradar a tothom ja que no ens ho havia explicat mai cap escriptor. Com va dir Miquel Martí Pol d’ella, “és una dona amb veu pròpia, amb un món interior molt ric i amb gran capacitat per expressar-lo”. Però el lector no només reviu amb intensitat les aventures dels corallers, sinó que comparteix també tot el procés de descoberta i creació literària que hi ha darrera el llibre. Un llibre que desvetlla el vincle secret entre diverses generacions d’una famíllia i que, amb un llenguatge precís, viu i subtil, acull el dietari, el relat o la llegenda.</div><br /><div align="justify">El Club de lectura és un activitat gratuïta i adreçada a tothom. Ell ha impulsat un projecte que relaciona biblioteca i formació. Ja fa dos anys que vam inaugurar les noves instal·lacions i dia a dia hem anat augmentant en préstecs i usuaris. De 1.800 préstecs el maig del 2007, hem passat a 3.800 préstecs el març del 2009. Pel que fa a visitants hem augmentat un 10% arribant a la xifra de 3.500 usuaris cada mes. Tenint en compte que a Torroella ja som 10.924 habitants, es pot valorar positivament l'evolució de la biblioteca.<br /><br />Qualitativament també hem ampliat el ventall de serveis. Hem fet activitats per promocionar la lectura com l'hora del conte per a infants i adults o l'activitat estrella com és el club de lectura, hi ha apuntades unes 20 persones.
